Why We Do This
Our mission at Let's Grow Gardens is to help you grow your best garden yet. We want to be a should for you to lean on during your gardening journey.
Gardening is more to us than a hobby, its a lifestyle, a community, a whole mind and body experience. Growing food from seed has a profound impact on the grower. Supporting that tiny living organism until it grows to a point of fruiting its thanks, so we consume it at the dinner table. Nothing tastes better. And we want everyone who wants to experience it, get the support they need.
Here at Let's Grow Gardens, we enter gardening with the whole in mind and we make every decision with care for the entire ecosystem. From the microscopic life in the soil to the beneficial insects in the air and every living thing in between, we strive to support and nurture through each garden action. All advice given here is from an ecology-focused, regenerative, and sustainable methodology, because that's where our heart is.
Meet the Gardener
Hi, I'm Chelsea, the owner and gardener of Let's Grow Gardens.
I have been in the garden since I can remember. From my grandparents to my mom and all my Aunts and Uncles. Gardening is just what we do in my family.
I started my first home garden as an adult in Aurora, CO. After trials and errors and gardening classes and YouTube videos... in my little 13'x20' space, I was able to feed our family all season long and even beyond with food preservation. I fell in love with being in the soil and after many years I decided that I wanted to grow food for more people than my family and friends. So we bought land and I started a small vegetable farm, providing a weekly CSA about 35 families a season. I grew over 75 different varieties of vegetables on 1.5 acres of land. It was an amazing time in my growing journey where I learned more rapidly than ever before and I am so grateful for it.
I am so excited to be back in the city and even more excited to garden with you. So Let's Grow something delicious!
